Whims and Fancies is sponsoring a Virtual Truck show. It is fun to share some of my favorite finishes and I look forward to seeing what others have to share.
I've been quilting for a really long time. I started blogging about 5 years ago which means now I (finally) have a good record of what I create.
For this trunk show, I choose quilts that were the most fun to make.
I put links to the original blog post so you can click there if you want more information.
First, let's start right away with the fandom. I love Dr Who! This is Hello Sweetie!
And the TARDIS quilt I made for my daughter.
My Farmer's Wife - I've shown this one a few times recently on my blog.
New Jersey which was a BOM recognizing the fight for the vote for Women. Same color scheme as my FW quilt and in fact - same fabrics! I made New Jersey first and gifted it to my Mom. I loved it so much, I used the leftover fabric for the FW quilt. (First time I've put a photo of these side by side!)
My quilt Infinite made for my son when he went off to college. I get more comments and email on this one than any other quilt I've made. I made templates for this fractal called Flow Snake. I saw a picture of a small quilt on line and then made my own.
And sometimes a little mini is more than enough quilt. I find I enjoy a little bit of stitching and building it into a mini is a lot of fun. (Details here.)
And this one to inspire my girls (Details here)
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stitching!
Amazing quilts! Because I'm just starting on a Farmer's Wife quilt, I know how much work you put into that. Infinite is an awesome design!
ReplyDeleteLove all these Patty, you have so many wonderful finishes, I know it had to be hard for you to pick just a few! I have to say the DW are faves of mine but that FW is absolutely a thing of beauty.

ReplyDeleteLove love your Farmer's Wife. I am seeing a lot of them lately in blogland. Great trunk show and the superhero put a big smile on my face! Definitely describes my daughter who works with the clloud! She told me so many females complain about the male dominated field and she says to them quit complaining and join me to change it!
