I finished my flimsy for this month's Schnibble in AYOS.
The pattern was Bibelot. I used a single charm pack of Circa 1934. The pattern called for an array of 49 T block (7x7) but I decided to make it smaller and go 4x4 so that it would fit in a spot in my home office.
The mini finishes at about 26" square. I was thinking of doing straight line quilting. I've done this for bags but never for an actual quilt. I think it will be a cool finish.
I ended up with 9 spare squares - just enough for a 3 x 3. I don't have enough charms left for a pieced border so I need to give this some thought. More on that later this week.
Happy Stitching!

I think straight line quilting will look wonderful on the adorable small quilt! I can't wait to see the final results :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your mini Bibelot ~ it's wonderful! But I especially love that you used Circa. I never would have thought that the Circa collection would look this great in this quilt, but it's perfect. You're a genius! :)
