Butterscotch and Journey

I had time to put the finishing touches on two Schnibbles this weekend.

My favorite is Butterscotch using charm packs of Butterscotch & Roses and bound with a print from the line.  The pattern is Lincoln. Watching a movie Saturday night gave me time to get the binding sewn on.

My DD has claimed this next one - Journey - made with a charm pack of Ruby and the pattern ISTH.  She will be hanging this in her room.  The quilt name initially came from the step I took in my FMQ but drawing a design on the fabric and then quilting over it.  Since my daughter is about to enter high school in the fall, the quilt name takes on a new meaning!  (See this blog post for more on my quilting journey.)

I've linked both of these finishs up to Such a Sew and Sew March 2012 linky party.

Happy Stitching!
