A View from My Part of the World - April

There are flowering trees everywhere so finding signs of Spring is the theme for this series of photos.

A nest of a dozen duck eggs under the azalea bush in our front yard didn't last.  The duck parents abandoned the nest and something stole all the eggs.   It was exciting for the three days we knew of the nest existence!
The momma duck before she decided to abandon her nest.

Canoes waiting for a warm Spring day.

Such a happy flower!

I would like some fabric in this color.  So, so pretty.

We've two azalea bushes that we've had for at least 15 years.  I love when they are in bloom.
Here is the second bush - the very same one that those ducks choose to make their nest.

There you go - this is a view from my part of the world.

Before you dash off,  I've a giveaway going on my Elm Street Quilts blog right now - go check it out for a chance to win some fantastic iron on labels from The Sweetwater Company.

And one more thing, now that I've gotten your attention with pretty pictures of spring, it isn't too late to get in on my Bargello QAL.  Some great prizes up for grabs there for some lucky participants!

I'll be joining the linky part at Whims and Fancies here.

Happy Stitching!
