Farmer's Wife 1930's - Mrs. Smith (72) & Mrs. Taft (73)

Two new blocks this week plus a review of all the blocks - group shots for each nine blocks!




Mrs. Smith (72) - Slightly wonky block both because I didn't press it and, well, because it is a bit off.  Had to use my seam ripper which is no fun with those tiny, tiny stitches.

Mrs. Taft (73) - I just love these two color blocks.  Such a dramatic look.

Each time I complete a group of 9, I do a group shot.  So here we go through block 72.   There are 99 blocks in total so I'm three group shots away from being done!

I put together a pinterest board of just my Farmer's Wife blocks so I can get a good look at them all at once.  Time to start focusing on the right variety of fabric combinations.

My fabrics are from Moda Fig Tree.  There are so many different versions underway right now - so much inspiration out there!
