I'm entering my quilt Cupcake Picnic into Blogger's Quilt Festival into the Original Design category.
This quilt is my own design and I used a charm pack of Kona along with straight line quilting to make this rainbow of flying geese.
I named this quilt Cupcake Picnic.
This quilt was part of a blog hop sponsored by Sew We Quilt. (link to my original post.). I took my 3 wonderful kids - two teenage girls and my twenty year old son - on a picnic on Mother's Day. While one could argue that the highlight of the picnic was the cupcakes or maybe even the quilt, it actually was just being together. It was fun and still feels like a hug many months later.
I am happy to be linking this quit up in Blogger's Quilt Festival!
Here is a link to my other quilt I'm entering into the large category plus, just for fun, the link to the quilts I entered in the Spring version of the show here and here.
Happy Stitching!
