Geese, geese and more geese

Every summer during our week at the beach, I work on a quilt (or two!) during the middle of the day when it is too hot to be on the beach.   I recently starting making some geese in order to make a small quilt but find myself getting addicted and want to make a large quilt instead!

My goal for May ALOF is to make all the geese from my layer cake of Sweetwater Road 15.   Sitting on the back porch and trim the block will be a pleasant task as the weather gets nicer.

I'll be linking up here!

Happy Stitching!

  1. Wonderful start, I especially love the stripes...have you tried the blocloc ruler for trimming? I like the hst versions but haven't tried the geese ones.

  2. What lovely fabrics... Sweetwater always has such good lines! Good job on the flying geese... they can be addicting...

  3. Love Road 15 fabrics, I made a quilt from 2 mini charm packs last month. Can't wait to see your finished photo!
