A crack in time

It may look like a smile but it is actually a crack in time!   This was the final block I am making from the Dr Who paper piecing quilt along.

I now have 11 blocks and have planned out a really fun way to set up this quilt.  Here are my other blocks:

and one more

Before I can assemble, I need to remove all the paper backing.  What a chore this is!

This weekend, I also completed the next step in Melissa's Start Bright quilt-a-long was to create the center star.   I'm using Moda Scrumptious fabric.  So pretty.

Happy Stitching!

  1. Looking good! I can't let my daughter see your Dr. Who blocks or she will want me to make some and I don't paper piece. Can't wait to see the setting.

  2. Your center star is so very pretty!! Great job on those wonderful perfect points. And your Dr. Who blocks are so fun. Put on a favorite movie to take off that paper ;)

  3. All your blocks look wonderful together, great choices :) I agree removing the paper is not a fun time...I have awhile to go before I need to worry about it though! Look forward to seeing what your plan is for 11 blocks, how mysterious...
