Pumpkin Spice

Parade time at Sinta's and Sherri's blog as we wrap up another month of Another Year of Schnibbles.   This month's challenge pattern was called Clover.

I made a 4 square version (instead of 9) and used some charm squares from Phenomenal Fall (Moda).

To quilt, I just stitched in the ditch in both directions.  I like the grid it formed on the back as well has the final look.

I've named this quilt Pumpkin Spice.  (My daughter made a pumpkin pie this weekend - almost called it pumpkin pie!)

Trees are just beginning to turn here in central NC.  I had a wonderful picnic and walks with my girls on Sunday.

Happy Stitching!

  1. How beautiful, I love the colors in pumpkin spice.

  2. Oh, very nice.... very nice indeed! Makes me want to stitch up another fall table topper... *lol*

  3. I love your spin on Clover! A four square is a brilliant idea! Your photos are gorgeous. I just love the fall colors!

  4. I really like the fall colors you used and the dark setting triangles are very effective at creating a border.

    1. Very pretty colors - smart of you to do 4 squares.

  5. I love the fall colors you used in your Clover, just perfect for this time of year. And the size works so well for a table topper. I also live in central NC and we've had some beautiful fall weather this past week, haven't we? Loved the pictures you took!

  6. So nice Patty :-) A lovely little fall quilt!
