About two weeks ago, I blogged about finishing my 12 Days of Christmas BOM quilt.
As I doing a final pressing (and loose thread removal) before dropping off to my LAQ, I decided the wreath block in the bottom corner was upside down.
So I did some surgery.
And turned it around.
Which way is really up? Frankly they both look right to me!
The quilt - which I will call the 12 Days of Christmas - is home and already been snuggled under.
Happy Stitching!
Patty....your quilt is gorgeous...I really want to make one. My friend has made 2 of them and I'm going to 'beg' to borrow her pattern...I just never signed up for the BOM. I have all the fabrics....and by the way I would not have changed the wreath block....I agree with you, it looks right both ways. Merry Christmas, Pauline
ReplyDeleteIt turned out beautifully. And I bet nobody would have noticed that the wreath was upside down if you didn't point it out. And I agree with you, it looks good in either direction.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great quilt! I have to say I would have done the same as you and turned the wreath!
ReplyDeleteI think your block works either way up, looking lovely anyway! the quilt looks ready for snuggling!
