Miscellaneous important bits

Happy Saturday!

Have a couple of important fun things - for me anyway! - to share!!

On my Elm Street Quilts blog, I posted a tip about webbing back in early October.

Look what I won?

Isn't this a fabulous pack of Aurifil Aurora threads almost too pretty to sew with?  (But never fear, sew with them I will do!)  I linked up to Sew and Sow Farm as part of the Sew Simple Saturday series Jan started.

She is running this link up the first Saturday of each month.  Publish a tip and link up too!  I've got a tip for today's link up on marking quilting lines - hope you'll check it out!

Then, the giveaway gods smiled down on me as I won a fat eight pack of Chic Neutrals (by Amy Ellis from Moda)!  I've got this gorgeous stack of fabric on the corner of my desk and droll over it every day.

I won this fabric from a Grand Opening celebration from Lana's new online store It Seems to be Sew.  It is a great looking shop and I like that there is some home decor items to tempt me while I'm fabric shopping.  Best wishes to Lana on her new online store!

Next, I wanted to set my ALYOF goal for November.  You can check out more about this on Sew Bitter Sweet Designs.

I want to make a mini using this free paper piecing pattern.   I'm thinking green to make something wreath like!   I love making geese and enjoy paper piecing so this will be fun.

My project for November isn't picture worthy yet. - haven't yet pulled the fabrics.   I've put a  miscellaneous picture of geese so I've something to put in the linky!

Finally - are you still reading along? - I saw this great idea for a virtual trunk show on November 10 sponsored by Whims and Fancies.   Get more information on her post here and prepare to link up!

Still with me?

Make sure you check out the Bag It series on my Elm Street Quilts blog.  Fabulous sponsors and tutorials to help you get some holiday gifts, done, done, done!

All done.

Move on to reading your next blog!  (smile)

Have a great day.

Happy Stitching!
