Bag It Series starts on Monday!

The Bag Iseries starts Monday, November 2.

Can you tell I'm excited about this?   (To get that photo, I laid down on our driveway and had my daughter toss a basket of bags (the bags and not the basket!) into the air.  It was a tough photo to take because I was clicking away anticipating the moment when things would start to fall on me from the sky!)

Today's post  on my Elm Street Quilts blog features information about supplies you will need if you wanted to make each of the 5 different types of bags.

For each of the 5 Monday's in November, I'll introduce tips and tutorials on these different variations of bags and pouches. Many of the examples use zippers but they all don't.

There will be other posts during the week to discuss different options and twists.

All the action will be on my Elm Street Quilts blog but I'll post here each Monday to summarize what is happening.

There are 6 gift certificates from 3 great sponsors up for grabs during this series.

If you haven't already done so, visit my sponsor post to earn some giveaway entries just by commenting and more entries by showing some sponsor love!

Then, once the series begins, you can earn an entry (worth ten points) to win one of the gift certificates for each bag that you make during the period from November 2 through December 14.

You don't have to make the bag I've got the tutorial on - any bag or pouch you make and share counts as an entry (worth ten points each).

How can you share?

Your blog, if you have one.

Via Facebook or via Instagram if you'd prefer.

Or you could send me a photo in an email.

You make five bags - just send or post a single photo of all the 5 bags and it will count as 5 entries.

My goal is to make entering easy!

So check out my supply post and schedule some time in November to get your handmade holiday gift gifting underway!

Happy Stitching!
