Aren't they so cute?
Thank you Alida from Tweety Loves Quilting for these fabulous Peanuts paper pieced patterns. Each of these were so much fun to assemble. Snoopy and Charlie Brown are my favorite. I could make them again as a small mini quilt!
My goal was to assemble these guys together as though they were in a photo. It tuned out bigger than I had expected (roughly 48'' wide by 22'' long) but I was afraid of trimming the blocks any further so as not to cut too close to the characters.
This will hang in our bonus room which so happens to also work as my home office and my sewing space!
I discovered these through a QAL here
Did you hear there is going to be a new Peanuts movie? You can create your very own Peanuts character here. This one is mine. I think she is so cute!
Finishing my Peanuts quilt was September goal (post) - I'll be linking up at Another Lovely Year of Finishes
Happy Stitching!
So lovely! Great job with the finish! And your Peanuts character is pretty cute too... maybe next time you can add a block to represent yourself in the mini, wouldn't that be fun?
ReplyDeleteThese look so good together...what a fun finish!
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! I've watched each block but haven't gotten up my nerve to try it yet. I've not done paper piecing. Are there any tutorials you would recommend?
