Happy Monday! For those in the US, I hope you are enjoying the long holiday weekend.
Today it is time for week 2 of our Harvest QAL. You get to make Pumpkins and Apples!
Very easy blocks that won't take you too much time.
Do note that the apples pieces above (as well as those in the finished sample) are different than the instructions. See that piece of background fabric on the right? It should be on the left to better offset the apples in the quilt.
It will work either way - but follow the pictures in the instructions for a more balanced final product!
The QAL is being hosted on my Elm Street Quilts blog. You can find links to the overall QAL here and the information about the pumpkins and apples blocks on this post.
The QAL is free and I hope you will join!
Please grab the QAL button and place it on your blog so everyone knows you are quilting along.
If you rather make the quilt now and not wait for the weekly block schedule, the pattern is now available in my Craftsy store.
Post pictures of your pumpkin and apple blocks on Instagram (#elmstreetquilts) and join the linky party.
This apple looks good enough to eat, doesn't it? (smile) Now go to this post to make some of your very own!
Happy Stitching!
Cute. I cannot wait to pull "apple" fabric from my stash.
