Last week I blogged about my mini quilt Diamonds which finished 9 1/2" square.
I've 2 things to share today. First - a tutorial on my Elm Street Quilts blog! I'd love to know if you make one (or two or three!)
Second, I made another one - this time a bit bigger (15" x 12") - by adding a border and using a few more HST units. (I think this from a Fig Tree mini-charm pack.)
I quilted the batik one at least twice as dense as you can see in this photo. The batik quilting was straight lines while the other quilting had a curve to it.
So fun and so different because of the fabrics!
Enjoy my tutorial.
I'll be linking up here at Sew Fresh Quilts.
Happy Stitching!
They are so different! Very cute!!!
ReplyDeleteThe more dense the better on the minis I think but on quilts I like it more spaced out to keep the quilt soft :)
ReplyDeletethese are both pretty and a great way to use scraps!
Love the way you have used your fabric. The quilts turned out so pretty.
