My first response when I first read Bonnie's Celtic Solstice clue 5 about using leftover HST from a previous clue was 'uh oh'. I didn't remember having anything leftover.
But I did! Those cute HST on the left are the 'leftovers'!!
Since I am making half of the number of blocks required for the small, I needed 50 of clue 5. I completed 46! To make any more, I need to make additional HST so I'll wait until I've gotten to the final reveal before I make any more.
And all of my piles together - looking so colorful!
Now onto clue 6 on Friday. I wonder how many clues in all there will be?

Happy Stitching!
love the pale grey - in fact the colours are all quite exciting. Not long now until we see everything together.
ReplyDeleteThats so funny... i had the same reaction...what leftover hsts? But somehow i thought it meant i was supposed to have saved the little triangles that got chopped off the chevrons! Jo in NC
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore your fresh fabric choices - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors! Can't wait to see how this one ends.
ReplyDeleteLovely cheerful colours you've chosen.
ReplyDeletelooking quite scrumptious -- great job. I keep telling myself that I want to do this project but it may end up being more of a catch up project instead of an all along project.
ReplyDeleteIt is going to be a beauty! Iove your colors!
ReplyDeleteI like your color choices! I'm making half the blocks for the small size too. Since Bonnie posted the reveal today, I found that I needed to make two more each if the chevron units and the split triangle units for a total of 52 each. That will result in a 5 x 5 block layout. If my calculations are correct, we need 18 more of the blue/orange tri-recs units, though for the border. Good luck -can't wait to see how your version turns out!
