I made my 2nd block (which is actually block 3 of the quilt-along). This is K-9. Who fans seem to have very strong opinions on K-9. They either really like him - think he is cute etc (like my DD) or strongly disagree. Me, I like him!
Like the first block, these paper pieced blocks are taking more time than I like plus I create the messiest of sewing space as I am making them. While the final result is anything but perfect, seeing my finished blocks just make me smile.

Fun! I don't actually watch Dr. Who, a sin I know, but I've heard a lot of great things about it and I'm seeing this quilt along all over the place! Good work!
ReplyDeleteLove your tin dog and your TARDIS...and I totally agree that this paper piecing is hard on the cleanliness level of my sewing space...scraps everywhere...hmmm, yes, that's usually the case but these are smaller, messier pieces, lol!
