Dragonfly

Dragonfly is the name I have given to my quilt made from Bonnie Hunter's mystery quilt a long called Easy Street.

This was such a fun mystery quilt along.   I made the quilt smaller than Bonnie's - mine finished at roughly 52 by 72.

The fabric I used was Moda Good Fortune.  The border was done in the green dragonfly print and the backing the gray dragonfly hence the quilt name.

Quilting was done by Cathy Kirk in an overall pattern called Deb's Swirls.

This was gifted to my sister-in-law who turned 50 yesterday.  I mailed the package Tuesday - always worry about sending a quilt project through the mail.  The package traveled from NC to Mass in just 2 days.

My SIL called me and was so very excited.  She loves the colors.  She loves the quilt.  She even loves the quilt label (which I forgot to take a photo of).

I am linking up my February finish with A Lovely Year of Finishes.

Happy Stitching!
