New Jersey

I grew up in northern New Jersey (live in North Carolina now).

Block five from Barbara Brackman's Grandmother's Choice - Votes for Women Block of the Week is New Jersey.  This one was so much easier to assemble than last week's block and it went together quite quickly.  I find that I am using a lot of white in these blocks and like the crisp look.  My fabric is Vintage Modern.  (Color not true to photo - that orange-red in the triangles is red-red.)

With that behind me, I decided to make a mini quilt using the mini-Schnibble Jot and two mini charms of Harvest Moon I won recently.  I've never actually made the churn-dash block before so I'm looking forward to the assembly.

Another fun blog hop starts this week - Leafs me Happy.

I participate on Friday - here are today's innovators:

Happy Stitching!
