This month's Schnibble is Bibelot (which means a small object of curiosity). I decided to use my Circa 1934 fabric. I made a few sample blocks - they go together really fast. (Except for the dotted one - which I had to assemble 3 times before I got it right.)
The pattern calls for 49 T blocks but I am going to make it smaller - either 25 (5x5) or 16 (4x4). I am just using a single charm pack. I've some fat quarters from the line so I have some options for the border. I may call the quilt Typewriter given one of the prints has typewriter keys on it. (Still thinking about the name.)
I was lucky and won two blog giveaways recently. The first is two sets of fat quarters from the Dear Stella line. This was on Jaybird Quilts and sponsored by Fat Quarter Shop. Upon seeing the fabric, my DD (13 yrs old) claimed a quilt made from it. She loves the modern prints.
I also won this cute Shamrock pattern from Seams Like Dream and they sent along some fun fabric as well.
Thanks Julie & Fat Quarter Shop as well as Kate and Elizabeth. I feel lucky!
Happy Stitching!
Congratulations! Lucky YOU!
