I'd already assembled 164 HST blocks - they all needed to be trimmed. So I took advantage of a warm evening and spent some pleasant time on my back porch and trimmed about 3/4 of them to 4 1/2 inches. I was then anxious to get sewing so I decided to get some of it assembled and continue the trimming process on the remainder later.
To the sewing machine I go, wine glass in hand.

Ugh.
Looking to be a nice day today so suspect I'll be out on my back porch, seam ripper in hand. And then start trimming again. Sigh.

Your post really made me laugh, At least the weathers lovely and you can enjoy spending time on your verandah. When will someone invent an electric seam ripper.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in the fabric! I'm not a fan of the seam ripper, so I wouldn't be anxious to get started on those seams. I hope you're not a procrastinator like I am :-)
