The 2016 Bonnie Mystery

Are you doing this year's Bonnie Hunter mystery quilt?  It is called En-Provence and was inspired by a trip to France.

Here are the fabrics I will be using:

I switched up the purple for blues.  Love, love these fabrics.  They are:

  • Moda Valley Teal Cresoote
  • Modern Textures in Brick
  • Moda Valley Desert Bloom
  • Moda Bella Suede in Blue
  • Moda Welcome Fall Leaf Lines in Cream

This is my 5th time participating in her mystery event and it is always fun.  Typically I make about 1/4 of the units each week and then make more as needed once the reveal happens.

I made these week 2 units using the paper piecing template Bonnie provided. The paper piecing made for accurate blocks.

I'll be linking up here.

Are you joining in this year?

Happy Stitching!

  1. I found Bonnie the year that she did Orka. I printed off the pattern, but I never did make the quilt, nor have I ever made one of her mystery quilts since. But I love following others progress and the final reveal. Have fun, Patty!

  2. I am resisting as I still have to finish putting the pieces of last year's quilt together. But these are so my colors. And I have promised myself to finish up other WIP.
