Farmer's Wife 1930's - Rosemary (88) & Ruby (89)

As I get closer to the 99 block mark, I find that I'm choosing colors based on what fabric I have the most of.  I think I'll sit and do some better planning for these last ten blocks.

Rosemary (88) -  I like this block - mixes together my favorite fabrics.

Ruby (89) - I didn't realize that the stripes don't join neatly on the diagonal by design until I sew it together, took it apart and tried to find a way for things to match.

I put together a pinterest board of just my Farmer's Wife blocks so I can get a good look at them all at once.  Time to start focusing on the right variety of fabric combinations.

My fabrics are from Moda Fig Tree.  There are so many different versions underway right now - so much inspiration out there!
