'Twas the Night

'Twas a few weeks before Christmas and time for another fun hop hosted by Mdmn Samm and Marlene.  We are giving and getting (!!!!) gifts that can be created in just a few hours.

When I heard Elizabeth was sending me something, first thing I did was check out her blog and saw she creates a lot using wool felt, something I've never done.  It was fun to anticipate the squishy envelope.

Aren't these beautiful?

The snowflake is my favorite.

Thanks Elizabeth!

Ornaments are great ideas for holiday gifts.

I am lucky enough to have 6 younger sisters and every year for as long as I can remember I will make them something for Christmas.

This year, they are getting a Pretty Trash Bag use in their car.

I created this for the Rush Hour hop and my pattern is available at Craftsy.

You can hang these from the dashboard in your car or put it on the floor.  They don't slide around.  You line them with a gallon size plastic bag (the kind with the twist tie) so your trash bag stays neat and clean.  And the best part?  No more Target or supermarket ugly bag hanging off the dashboard to attempt to collect the trash.

And the other best part? They take no more than an hour to make.  Kinda silly to love a trash bag but I just love mine.

Finally, I was excited to get my blog buddy Kris as the person to send my gift too.  We met through our blogs.  She has been a great cheerleader for me and I love seeing what she creates.

Let's go off to visit Kris!!  If you like what I sent, I have a pattern for that one too - made a whole collection of them last year for my sisters.

Now off to enjoy more blogs and find some time to get back into my sewing room.   Have a great holiday!  The full schedule for this hop can be found here.

Please put on the holiday music and go visit all the lovely ladies I am sharing today with:
