I see circles!!
My January goal for Another Lovely Year of Finishes was to complete all the blocks and assemble the center quilt top from Bonnie Hunter's Celtic Solstice mystery.
It was pedal to the metal time to get this all assembled. I decided on a 6x6 block layout and needed to make many, many chevrons to get the extra blocks done. I don't really like those chevrons.
(The photos clearly show that I did NOT press after the final assembly! )
I'm glad to see the circle shows up even though the contrast on the my "blue" fabric isn't the strongest. This currently measures 54 1/2 inches square. There are 3 outer borders, one of them pieced.
Linking up to the finishes party here.
Happy Stitching!

Congratulations! Looking good! I finally got the center of mine pieced together and I saw circles, too.
ReplyDeleteLovely quilt! Great job.
ReplyDeleteWell done, it looks lovely - ironed or not. I like the effect of the not so high contrast too.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on making your goal. Sounds like you worked really hard!!! It looks great.
