Warning - Blog Hop Crazy Ahead

It is all about the hop, isn't it?

I made a button for my little lady.

And surrounded her with memories of past (Dots on Dots) and future (Nancy Drew is the Clue) blog hops!  (That little scrap of blue fabric for the pincushion is from the Nancy Drew fabric.)

And then I surrounded her with flying geese - a favorite block to make.

The hair is mine - although I think I've just a tad more gray.  I do wear glasses but I am not quite as wide as this lady.  I printed the fabric background to get my mini dots on dots quilt there and the Keep Calm & Quilt On sign.  This was the first time I every tried this - freezer paper onto fabric in an ink jet printer. (It worked on the third try - first and second try, oh boy, kinda messy.)

Thanks to Mdmn Samm and Marlene for a fun hop!  I am clearly addicted to the hops!  Now take another sip of your morning brew and enjoy the rest of today's lovely entries.

The full schedule can be found here on Marlene's Blog Stitchin By the Lake.

Fabric used was Sweetwater Sew Mama Sew.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Stitching!

  12. Great job! That quilting phrases fabric for the shirt was perfect. All the little added tid bits are wonderful! I just tried printing on fabric with freezer paper this week to make labels. I actually used a piece of Pallete Paper from the painting section at AC Moore. It worked greatgreat and less curly than freezer paper. Although, freezer paper is probably cheaper! I'm all about cheap, more money for fabric!
