My Favorite Schnibble

Sinta and Sherri hosted a full year of Schnibble challenge in 2012.  I enjoyed the whole process of the pattern choice surprise and the parade reveal.   They promise to restart the parade for 2013 in May so I've my calendar marked!

To celebrate, they asked we post about out favorite Schnibble of all time.  That is really hard because I love all of them!

Instead of one quilt, I decided to choose the pattern I made twice, in the small size and in a larger size - Lincoln.

Here is my Schnibble sized Schnibble which used Fig Tree fabric.  I made this quilt in January 2012 and call it Butterscotch.

Because I loved the pattern so much, I decided to made the larger size.  I did slightly modify the pattern to keep my sanity on all those geese blocks so went with 4 strips instead of 3.   This queen sized quilt used Sweetwater Pure fabric.  I named it Pure & Simple.

My stash of charm packs awaits.

Happy Stitching!

  2. loving the blue and brown color combo. the pattern looks more balanced with the larger stars and 4 stripes -- but both are great.

  4. I love your Pure and Simple quilt. The more muted colours and there being only 3 colours allows the pattern design to really shine.
